We all need to remember this Parul. People often tend to forget all this and it is actually food for thought.

I’m all for giving the other person the benefit of the doubt. But if a person openly mocks me/my stand, they don’t deserve my compassion. I’ve actually removed a few people from my friend list these last two weeks because they were openly scornful and demeaning of my stance or the stance adopted by people I love. For me, that’s a deal breaker. Being open to lessons is one I gladly advocate.

  4. This is, yet another, beautiful and thought provoking post I loved to read, Parul.
I so agree with these thoughts; We need people, situations, and many other (un)comfortable surroundings to grow. We need to become better versions of ourselves and for that, we need to look at one thing through multiple lenses.

  5. You know Parul, that’s such a beautiful thought. Sadly in today’s times, having opposing views to someone is considered as being anti – national and outrageous. It’s really difficult to even have a different viewpoint than the rest and that’s what honestly frustrates me.

Thank you for this reminder! We try to avoid the tough situations (at least I do!) but it does force you to grow. It has to, even if it’s difficult to see it that way.
