Portrait of a man from Turtuk

Portrait of a man from Turtuk
Portrait of a man from Turtuk

We met him in Turtuk. He owned a few apricot and apple farms in the remote village. He was also the owner of a luxurious tourist camp. All in all, a man who had enough to lead a comfortable life and yet he was different from many. He was humble, soft spoken and a listener. Someone who had seen many things and was eager to share stories.

Sometimes, pictures turn out to speak out for the person in it. This fitted the category.

Another portrait photography attempt with the Canon. Today’s post is my #58 of Wordless Wednesdays hosted by Esha and Natasha

  1. I was moved by this because I have never attempted portrait photography. It’s an art, and you have so captured the kindness in this man’s face.

  2. I think you’ve captured the essence of the man through this picture. Fantastic shot, Parul. I agree with you — I think a picture speaks a thousand words! So glad you shared this amazing picture and linked up with us this week, Parul. I’m loving your travel pics. Keep them coming. 🙂
