The entrance to Safdarjung Tomb
Built in the 18th century, the Safdarjung Tomb is located in the heart of New Delhi. Can you believe that a much beautiful sandstone and marble mausoleum is just behind this grand entrance?
Safdarjung Tomb is one of the 174 Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) protected monuments in Delhi and is open for tourists. While I got this shot on the go like that of the way to Rashtrapati Bhavan, someday I would love to visit this place.
Have you visited this tomb?
For Day 9 of #NaBloPoMo, I am bringing to you a photo post from my recent travel. This post is Wordless Wednesday #40.
