Thursday Tree Love -117
Thursday Tree Love -117

I have travelled to see my parents after two long and tough years. So today, I am sharing with you a tree I spotted on my last leg of the journey home. This is a Neem tree by the side of state highway in far east Uttar Pradesh. From now on, I will make an honest attempt to share trees that show you a slice of my life. Can you do that too? I would love to know you more along with your trees.

Are you game with the idea? Let me know in comments below.

Thursday Tree love is a photo feature hosted on this blog on every 2nd and 4th Thursday of a month. The next edition will go live on November 25, 2021. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog, tell me where did you spot the tree and link it back to this post.

If you don’t see the pingback, please leave a link to your post in my comments section. Please make sure that your post’s link is showing up on this latest edition. I will link your posts on my blog in the next edition and spread some love. Let’s come together to appreciate the beautiful nature around us.

  1. Beautiful Neem ka ped! They remain such an intrinsic part of our lives, isn’t it? Trust you made the most of the time spent with your parents, Parul!

So glad to be here after a long break. I was missing this space so much and the fact that I wasn’t posting for #thursdayTreeLove, so today, am back with a leaf from my travel diary. I love your idea of sharing tree photos that are part of your journey. Can’t wait to see what all you are going to share in the coming weeks. Best of luck with the blogging, dear.

  2. Hello to the Neem tree from your home state. Nice to know that you finally got to go home. 🙂
It’s a thumbs up. I look forward to hearing more about your new idea. 👍
    Thank you for hosting, Parul.
    I’ll link a post, soon.

  3. Two comments – I don’t know how to reach these posters directly. I tried to comment on Yen for Blue and it kept giving me error messages. Esha (who introduced me to this group): could you kindly check and see if my comment go to spam? I’m having problems again, it looks like, with certain WordPress blogs tagging me as a spammer. Appreciate it!

    1. Apologies for my delayed response, Alana. I did receive your most recent comment on the #treelove post and there have been no issues at all. So, rest assured, everything is fine. 🙂
Also, hoping you are not facing problems with the other WordPress blogs anymore.

  4. That’s an excellent idea for sharing trees, Parul. I’m going to make a point of doing that for the next Thursday Tree Love, as a change of pace from just taking pictures in our yard. I wasn’t sure what to do next, now that the fall foliage is almost gone, so this is a great inspiration – thanks!

And I’m so glad to hear you were finally able to visit your parents!

Speaking of our yard, here is my contribution –

Sending lots of good thoughts to you and yours. 💚

  6. Eastern part of UP.. oh i miss that so much but unfortunately as my parents have moved to lucknow there is no going back! thanks for sharing this beautiful neem tree! this post reminded me of all the trees since my childhood- how we used to play around them, steal the ropes from the near by well and make swing out of it. This post also reminded me taht how we are not close to trees anymore… it’s been ages i guess that i’ve touched or sat around a tree… sob!!

I tried recalling which tree i can click and share but alas! couldn’t find anyone! but i’ll keep my search on and share!
