“Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn’t learn a lot at least we learned a little, and if we didn’t learn a little, at least we didn’t get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn’t die; so, let us all be thankful.”
― Gautam Buddha
Thursday Tree love is a photo feature on this blog. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog and link back to this post. Next week, I will link your posts on my blog and spread some love. Let’s come together to appreciate the beautiful nature around us.
Before you go, don’t forget to check the lovely trees that were shared last week on #ThursdayTreeLove – 11:
- A walk in Cubbon Park and Mayuri spotted this lovely tree
- Lata’s shot from Mumbai and the gorgeous angle
- Esha’s shot that stole my heart
- Perfect Kamoreibi capture by Natasha
- Sitting under the tree beautifully captured by Shilpa
- Fall colors captured beautifully by Ramya
- The dry branches as Balaka observed and captured
Nice picture. In one of my recent posts on Global Pagoda I have posted the picture of the tree which is a branch of the actual Bodhi tree under which the Buddha became the enlightened one. I liked the quote as well.

I so love this quote, Parul. This is like a mantra that I keep chanting ever so often to myself as I go about my daily routine. This is such a beautiful image, so calm and so blissful, as most Buddha images are. This one just made my day!!
