“To acquire knowledge, one must study;
but to acquire wisdom, one must observe.”
― Marilyn vos Savant
This month, I made a quick trip to New Delhi to see my parents who were also visiting the capital city for some work. Since it was hot up North, I travelled in air conditioned cabs with my eyes on the road and looking for trees and greenery around. New Delhi boasts of curated gardens and a lot of greenery. I also got lucky to see this tree when we were crossing the Connaught Place. The white building and the green tree under a blue sky brought me joy.
Thursday Tree love is a photo feature hosted on this blog on every 2nd and 4th Thursday of a month. The next edition will go live on September 22, 2022. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog, tell me where did you spot the tree and link it back to this post.
If you don’t see the pingback, please leave a link to your post in my comments section. Please make sure that your post’s link is showing up on this latest edition. I’m always happy to see urban trees and to know a major city has curated gardens and lots of greenery. Urban trees do so much to make the urban environment a better place. Here’s my contribution: https://ramblinwitham.blogspot.com/2022/08/japanese-pagoda-tree-thursdaytreelove.html

It’s always encouraging to see trees in front of city buildings. We need trees everywhere, but especially in cities. Your quote is so true. We can acquire a lot of wisdom observing trees. Oh wow, the heritage CP of rajdhani and this lovely green with blue and white background looks lovely. I seem to have recognised the place in the pic. Very well said in the quote to aquire wisdom we need to observe, and its wonderful to spot such trees near city buildings.
