“Nothing is ever really lost to us as long as we remember it.”

This is a massive Peepal tree from a prominent area in Bangalore. Also, on a very busy street with traffic lights around it. I have seen this tree for easy 13 years or maybe more. And I may have many pictures but of the 148 tree pictures on this blog, I was really not sure if I ever shared this one with you all. So here is to seeing this tree for many more years to come.
Tell me how have you been and what brings you joy today?
Thursday Tree love is a photo feature hosted on this blog on every 2nd and 4th Thursday of a month. The next edition will go live on August 10, 2023. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog, tell me where did you spot the tree and link it back to this post.
If you don’t see the pingback, please leave a link to your post in my comments section. Please make sure that your post’s link is showing up on this latest edition. I will link your posts on my blog in the next edition and spread some love. Let’s come together to appreciate the beautiful nature around us.

This is a beautiful tree. Here’s to seeing it for many years to come! Tree love brings me joy. I’m thankful to trees for so many things, like making a home for birds whose songs bring me joy. Such a big tree in a crowded urban street setting – it is a survivor and I wish it many happy years ahead (whatever happiness means to a tree). I’m thankful for the rain we are getting now, and for the opportunity I had to pick blueberries earlier today. Blueberry time is one of my favorites. Here is my post: https://ramblinwitham.blogspot.com/2023/07/another-year-of-black-walnuts.html

So lovely to hear. We are also getting blueberries here but I don’t know if they grow here. Maybe something I need to google. Thanks, Alana.

Beautiful quote Parul! The tree is happy in its busy surrounding! Must it be amazed at people rushing away even as it stands calm and strong amid the bustle?? Here is mine https://yenforblue.blogspot.com/2023/07/sky-flower-thursdaytreelove.html

Lovely post, Parul. This is one of the many lovely trees that we Bangaloreans get to see, Parul…Even South Bangalore has many such! I think we’ve lost many trees to the metro project already…must preserve those that are left.
Mine is a late entry this time, Parul as I was travelling and then, post return, fell sick.
Here goes mine:
