“I am strong because I am weak. I am beautiful because I know my flaws. I am a lover because I am a fighter. I am fearless because I have been afraid. I am wise because I have been foolish and I can laugh because I’ve known sadness.”

I spotted this tree in one of the busiest areas of Bangalore. It was huge and looked old. It stood there strong and providing a relaxing space under its branches. A true delight to any passersby and a savior from a drizzle or the scorching Sun.
Thursday Tree love is a photo feature on this blog hosted on 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month. The next edition will be live on December 13, 2018. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog and link it back to this post.
If you don’t see the pingback, please leave a link to your post in my comments section. Please make sure that your post’s link is showing up on this latest edition. I will link your posts on my blog in the next edition and spread some love. Let’s come together to appreciate the beautiful nature around us.
If you know the tree, tell us a few facts about it and we could all learn together. Thanks for the idea Arvind!
Before you go, don’t forget to check the lovely trees shared on #ThursdayTreeLove – 51:

We are shaped by our experiences, both good and bad and our so called ‘flaws’. Great thought to go with a lovely shade giving tree. I think Bangalore has a rich treasure of trees.. Here is my tree https://yenforblue.blogspot.com/2018/11/native-beauty-thursdaytreelove.html

Indeed, Bangalore has huge trees, many of them are Gulmohar trees. Just wondering how this picture will look in color?

There are many Gulmohar. Colored did not have the right lighting. But yes, I can send it to you 🙂

I just loved that quote you shaed, Parul. How true! Without having known the other side, how can anyone truly appreciate just the good part of anything! Beautiful thought. That tree is magnificent! Such a gorgeous sight! As promised here is my Treelove post. This time I clubbed it with Wordless Wednesday. 🙂
