#ThursdayTreeLove – 70

When we were in Hong Kong and exploring the city, we visited the Ten Thousand Buddhas Monastery. Like the name suggests, it’s a monastery lined up with ten thousand statues of Buddha. Tourists climb up a hill through a path that has steps as shown above and on both sides they can see beautiful statues.

I remember having a hard time deciding when to stop to click and when to keep going. Looking back in my archives, this shot tells me that those who get tired climbing can also rest under the tree. Isn’t that lovely how the tree tilts to give that cover to the visitors?

Thursday Tree love is a photo feature on this blog hosted on 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month. The next edition will be live on September 12, 2019. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog and link it back to this post.

If you don’t see the pingback, please leave a link to your post in my comments section. Please make sure that your post’s link is showing up on this latest edition. I will link your posts on my blog in the next edition and spread some love. Let’s come together to appreciate the beautiful nature around us.

  1. This is a beautiful shot, Parul. Love how the gold Buddhas seem to rightfully belong there among the greenery. It can be hard deciding when to stop and take photos when you are traveling. Sometimes I like to click without thinking and that makes for interesting shots 🙂

  2. Lovely pic 😊. You know Parul now every time I see some good pics of trees and nature in general, I always remember your ‘Tree Love’ series. I think they always have so much so to say and so many stories.
