#ThursdayTreeLove – 95

“Some days ‘staying put’ might feel the same as Going Nowhere. Make a cup of tea, and wait for that feeling to pass.” ― Vivian Swift

ThursdayTreeLove – 95

I have seen this little tree for as long as 10 years until we moved to our new place. This tree has weathered many things. Getting chopped when processions pass or when the electricity lines spark. It has given shelter to people in rain and it has also stopped growing to grow again. This little one has stayed put. In sunshine and otherwise.

Thursday Tree love is a photo feature hosted on this blog on every 2nd and 4th Thursday of a month. The next edition will go live on September 24, 2020. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog and link it back to this post.

If you don’t see the pingback, please leave a link to your post in my comments section. Please make sure that your post’s link is showing up on this latest edition. I will link your posts on my blog in the next edition and spread some love. Let’s come together to appreciate the beautiful nature around us.

  1. The quote is eternally apt for my situation. I go nowhere and do not even consider it a problem. Still, I make my cup of ginger tea and dunk the rusk into it having a nice time with myself. In a way, I am like this tree on the road side. Par ped to chai peeta nahin hai?

  2. I agree with your quote and I am glad we do that when we find no where to go; wish our youngsters learn and adapt to this kind of attitude, rather than being impulsive… to be resilient and “staying put” is a serious issue among students. This tree offers strength and motivates to believe that every feeling is subject to pass… thanks for sharing, here is my post:https://livealifeofgratitude.blogspot.com/2020/09/88-thursday-tree-love_9.html

  3. It’s wonderful to have trees in our daily lives that are almost like old family friends.

Speaking of trees, I went outside again on Thursday to take a few photos to share… and ended up with over 60 shots! By the time I sat down to go through them, it was Saturday… 😂

However, it was my intent to share shots of the same trees over the course of the next couple of months as the fall foliage arrives, so I’ll just use a handful of what I have with a few new ones for the 24th. I swear my superpower is making something easy into something difficult! 🤣

And thanks as always, Parul, for giving us an excuse to share & enjoy the beauty of nature around the world. 💜
