I am a brewer.
I know what goes in that can of cider and beer,
and what raw materials make it so dear.
My job fuels my creativity,
it’s the best utilization of my education in Microbiology and Biochemistry.
Over seven years in my career,
the science in the combination of malt, hops, yeast and water still keeps my life in the top gear.
When one door closes, another opens,
my curious nature helped me find my passion as a qualified brewer.
When something is meant to be, things find a way of working out,
my mother, sister and best friend supported me without a doubt.
I challenged stereotypes and stuck to my ground,
like me, you should also allow yourself to think beyond.
Try something different and never give up,
set goals and achieve them for yourself.
I am Andria D’Souza and I am a brewer.
Today is edition #11 of #WomenAtWork, a regular photo feature on this blog. If you are interested in participating, please read the inaugural post and join by adding your linky below. I would love to see your take on the tag.
A friend, SN helped me connect with Andria and over my interactions with her, I found Andria to be a friendly person. I am happy Andria is here to inspire us with her story this Sunday.
How to link?
- You can only join with a blog post.
- It would be great to see a picture of a woman at work and a few words about her. If you cannot share a picture, you can share a picture of her workspace. With a real picture, I would still be able to call this a photo post.
- Use the linky to add your post.
- Visit others and show some love.
really nice.
