“So many worlds, so much to do, so little done, such things to be.” – Alfred Tennyson
Today’s tree is from a traffic signal enroute our friends’. Most days when we are headed to their place, the light here is red. Stopping at this signal makes me think of how busy everyone is. People waiting to board a bus, some zipping by only to later stop at the red light, some vendors around, a vehicle or two parked inspite of the no parking sign. The usual hustle but then this tree signalling us to slow down.
Thursday Tree love is a photo feature hosted on this blog on every 2nd and 4th Thursday of a month. The next edition will go live on April 14, 2022. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog, tell me where did you spot the tree and link it back to this post.
If you don’t see the pingback, please leave a link to your post in my comments section. Please make sure that your post’s link is showing up on this latest edition. I will link your posts on my blog in the next edition and spread some love. Let’s come together to appreciate the beautiful nature around us.

The trees watch humans rush around but they have to stay in one place. What do they think? Your quote speaks to me today. Here’s my entry for today: https://ramblinwitham.blogspot.com/2022/03/historic-paper-mulberry-tree.html

Such true words, Alana. Wonder how must that feel to the trees. Thanks, Alana.

I know what you mean. That tree signalling us to slow down is so symbolic of the hectic pace of our lives. Wonder where we are all headed to, if we cannot slow down and appreciate the things around us, and the people that matter the most to us! That quote is so true, Parul.

This is a magnificent tree – standing tall, branching wide, and watching everything. It gives a sense of stability. Is that artwork leaning against the bottom of the trunk? Here’s my tree love offering: https://joannaoftheforest.wordpress.com/2022/03/24/thursday-tree-love-blooming-dogwoods-2/

It’s a no parking message painted around that concrete structure that covers the trunk of the tree.

What a lovely tree. I love how those branches spread out. This definitely is something to look at as you wait for the signal to change.

Nice to be back after a long time. A bookshop tree is just perfect, so what if it is at a traffic light.
