#ThursdayTreeLove – 35

I spotted this tree in Srinagar. Strange as it may seem, I could not find a way to go to the other side. Then it struck me that some things are meant to be as is. It’s in our minds how we see things. They may look trapped from one side but not from the other.

Thursday Tree love is a photo feature on this blog hosted on 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month. The next edition will be live on March 22, 2018. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog and link it back to this post.

If you don’t see the pingback, please leave a link to your post in my comments section. I will link your posts on my blog in the next edition and spread some love. Let’s come together to appreciate the beautiful nature around us.

Before you go, don’t forget to check the lovely trees shared on #ThursdayTreeLove – 34:

  1. My God ! what a fitting quote to this tree image, Parul. I loved your quote – so much true, the way our mind works is so important and the traps are set by us and from our own experiences in life… as women we are trapped by patriarchy and religious fundamentalism and this can even kill us… today being the women’s day and the call is to press for progress… I believe it begins with myself and my own thought processes that needs to be freed from all types of trappings… here’s my link for tree love : https://livealifeofgratitude.blogspot.in/2018/03/thursday-tree-love-29.html

  2. An excellent quote for that picture. I stand by a chain linked fence every day and I sometimes photograph trees within. I almost used one of those pictures today – but in my case, I know where the fence ends and no, you can’t get in.

  3. It is all in the mind, yes. Lovely pic and thought.

Don’t kill me, but would you believe if I told you that I did not find a single tree that I could photograph in the last week? The trees at work are there, of course, but somehow don’t inspire me enough. I’ll start collecting pictures of trees soon, they might soon be extinct for all you know 😦

Next month on, I’m in for sure.

  5. What a lovely thought, Parul! Things are not always as it looks. That’s why we have to approach every situation, every person with an open mind. Right? Nice click too.
