“Don’t hide yourself from the world and don’t let the world hide himself from you!”
― Mehmet Murat ildan
The Sun tried to play hide and seek but could not escape. Have you thought how we try to hide from things that are right in front of us? So, stop hiding and go seek what you want. It’s simple and will bring you peace.
Thursday Tree love is a photo feature on this blog and is hosted on 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month. The next edition will be live on March 8, 2018. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog and link it back to this post.
If you don’t see the pingback, please leave a link to your post in my comments section. I will link your posts on my blog in the next edition and spread some love. Let’s come together to appreciate the beautiful nature around us.
Before you go, don’t forget to check the lovely trees shared on #ThursdayTreeLove – 33:

The setting is beautiful in the photograph. It also calls for an irony that the tree which was meant to barricade the sun is giving it a passe. It makes me happy to see so many bloggers joining the Thursday Tree Love.

This kind of glimpse of the sun always fascinates me… The resulting circle of rays is wonderful and colourful!! Loved this image even though the sun has grabbed attention from the tree.. 🙂 Here is my tree photo for the week… http://yenforblue.blogspot.in/2018/02/central-witness-thusdaytreelove.html

What a gorgeous click, Parul! Sun beaming from behind that tree adding more beauty to the tree, so beautiful. I loved the quote too, it works with my current situation. 🙂 I’m so glad to join ThurdsayTreeLove with you this time. I will try to be a regular from now on. Push me sometimes, Parul, I am slacking a bit too much on the blogging front than I can withstand.

It reminds me of a Bengali song that says how Sun glitters through a tree. Beautiful capture. Is this is India or abroad?

Very much India, Balaka! This is Bangalore 🙂
I would love to listen to that Bengali song someday. 🙂

I love the lighting on either side of the tree. I’ve played hide and go seek with the sun so many times in my photography; perhaps next time I should let the sun win. Here’s my entry http://ramblinwitham.blogspot.com/2018/02/tree-on-river-thursdaytreelove.html

And, about us playing hide and seek with the world, I would say, we often play hide and seek with ourselves, more than with others. How true are we with ourselves, is what my dad often reminded me to ask myself. It’s now that I truly understand what he meant!

So true! We are playing hide and seek from our own selves. Time we step out to face our real selves. Thank you Shilpa!

That is a very beautiful shot, Parul. The thought…well, couldn’t agree more on it. It’s true…. how we always try to escape from things even when they are right in front of us. Guilty, as charged, as far as I am concerned. 🙂

Like they say, no matter what you do the sun will always shine and there will always be a new day. Just like that, the goodness in people always peeks out.
