“Two roads diverged in a wood, and I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.”
― Robert Frost, The Road Not Taken
This was clicked in Kaziranga National Park in Assam and right where the safari leaves for the jungle. I wanted to experience the jungle and that was the desire. This tree to me was a sort of starting point.
Thursday Tree love is a photo feature on this blog hosted on 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month. The next edition will be live on September 13, 2018. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog and link it back to this post.

There is comfort and a feeling of security on the busy roads. It takes a rare and strong mindset to take the road less traveled and I am sure you are thoroughly enjoying this journey! Very apt thought to go with this wonderful image. Here is my tree https://yenforblue.blogspot.com/2018/08/the-sentinel-thursdaytreelove.html

I have never seen the entrance to a jungle. Forests, yes. Not jungles. Somehow, this is what I did not imagine! Here’s my link: http://ramblinwitham.blogspot.com/2018/08/longing-for-magnolias-thursdaytreelove.html

The road looks so quiet and peaceful. That bridge in the distance makes it look all the more like you’re crossing over to somewhere.

The tree stands all tall and observing, as the convoys of the safari pass by it and assuring everyone of a memorable ride. The path though traveled most frequently, promises different sights and views every time.
Clear picture that speaks of tranquility.

This picture brings to mind a marathi song, which began with, “Hee vaat door jaatey., swapna madheel gawaa….” Roughly translated as”This path leads to a far away land of my dreams..”

It is a beautiful picture. The road, the trees and the unused boat on the left! 🙂 Feels so good to be in nature’s company during safaris! I look forward to it more than the animals 😀
