“If you feel lost, disappointed, hesitant, or weak, return to yourself, to who you are, here and now and when you get there, you will discover yourself, like a lotus flower in full bloom, even in a muddy pond, beautiful and strong.”

I clicked this blooming tree in Dirang, Arunachal Pradesh. I loved the many flowers it had on it. So much so that I even published them here. Then I realized that the tree too deserves a mention. Wouldn’t you agree?
Thursday Tree love is a photo feature on this blog hosted on 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month. The next edition will be live on October 11, 2018. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog and link it back to this post.

I remember the name of this place too. Your Arunachal diaries take me back to my preteen holiday all those years ago. I’m sure things have changed a lot since then . Sorry I can’t join you with a tree capture this week. Too many things are happening right now . And my computer has reconfigured the photo app so all my pictures are trapped .

Sorry about that Balaka. When that happens, you can try another browser or mobile too. I have seen the cookies mess things up. You must go to Arunachal. It is a beautiful place. And you know who to reach out for any help. Thank you for joining!

What a beautiful lavender bloom. To be honest I don’t come across this color often because the flora in this part of the world has the usual colors and not what we consider exotic! Any idea about its name?

I think this is Wisteria as everyone has been sharing. I agree that I don’t see such trees too. But in Bangalore I see purple flowers. Some other tree that would be. Thank you Arvind for stopping by!

Such stunning flowers – to my American eye it looks like a Wisteria (common, and invasive, in the southern regions of our country) but I’m sure it is something different. My link: https://ramblinwitham.blogspot.com/2018/09/peaceful-thursdaytreelove.html
