For those who don’t know – that’s me.
Early October I was on a trek to Nandi Hills when spotted this tall tree. It was impossible to get it in the frame but I still got to hug it. I think we should celebrate the 50th edition of #ThursdayTreeLove. So that’s me celebrating with a tree I fell in love with recently. I am grateful to all those of you who read, join and lurk.
A special mention to those who join from around the world. Through your pictures, I see trees that I would never see in India. Each of your entry brings me closer to nature and I am sure if you feel that too.
Thank you!
Thursday Tree love is a photo feature on this blog hosted on 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month. The next edition will be live on November 8, 2018. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog and link it back to this post.
If you don’t see the pingback, please leave a link to your post in my comments section. Please make sure that your post’s link is showing up on this latest edition. I will link your posts on my blog in the next edition and spread some love. Let’s come together to appreciate the beautiful nature around us.
Before you go, don’t forget to check the lovely trees shared on #ThursdayTreeLove – 49:
- Archana shares beautiful Ficus trees from Ross Islands in Andamans
- Sunita shares the beautiful Monet’s bridge
- Angela shares a tree full of bright yellow flowers
- Shilpa shares the beautiful and unique Elephant Ear Fig Tree

Congratulations on turning 50! 50 tree shows as it were . This is a refreshing blog hop that has me observing trees from a photographer’s perspective and not just as a nature lover .
And good to see you hug the tree .

The title of this post should have been – Parul joins “Chipko” movement! 😉
Congrats for golden jubilee, Parul!
Let’s make a change to your challenge. Ask everyone joining you to find a bit about the tree in picture and write about it. Isn’t it fair to know a little bit about the beauty around us? 🙂

That’s a great idea. I will do that. I only feel that sometimes (people like me) can be ignorant and now know much 😉

I wonder what 50 in tree years means. Trees have so much to offer us. “Tree hugger” is a term of insult among some in my country; I totally disagree. Here are my trees: https://ramblinwitham.blogspot.com/2018/10/red-at-last-thursdaytreelove-blogboost.html

True that! Why would the word be an insult? That is surprising.
Thanks for joining, Alana!

Congrats Parul, for the consistency in posting; also got me motivated to be regular. You look lovely hugging the tree, great click; the quote is an appropriate one. I had lot of issues with the system from morning, finally I am happy that I could see your post and ad my link.https://livealifeofgratitude.blogspot.com/2018/10/tree-love44.html
