“The ache for home lives in all of us. The safe place where we can go as we are and not be questioned.”
― Maya Angelou
Last year when my office was at different location, I would see this tree almost everyday. The best thing about it was that regardless of the season and the presence of leaves, it would be home to birds.
Thursday Tree love is a photo feature on this blog hosted on 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month. The next edition will be live on April 11, 2019. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog and link it back to this post.
If you don’t see the pingback, please leave a link to your post in my comments section. Please make sure that your post’s link is showing up on this latest edition. I will link your posts on my blog in the next edition and spread some love. Let’s come together to appreciate the beautiful nature around us.

She has a certain elegance, this tree. The quote reminds me that home is where the trees are. Here’s my post: https://joannaoftheforest.wordpress.com/2019/03/28/thursday-tree-love-blooming-dogwoods/

Home is where trees are. My grandparents on both sides had trees in the backyard and growing up it was fun. Thanks JoAnna. You made me think of those days.

The quote got me into thinking about the ‘Home’. Where it is? No it is not the 4 walls and the roof. The tree looks beautiful and the birds perched on its branches seem to be part of the tree itself, maybe like the leaves. The blue sky with the white fluff of clouds makes for a nice background.

Some are birds and some are leaves.
On home, homes like they say is about the people who make a house a home. The walls, city and roof is the physical part of it. Thanks Anamika.
