“It is spring again. The earth is like a child that knows poems by heart.”
― Rainer Maria Rilke
One weekend I spotted this tree in my neighborhood. Good for me, it was a weekend so I stepped out with my camera to get a few shots. The best thing about nature is that there is no perfect picture. Every picture is equally beautiful. Have you had a chance to check the summer blooms of this tree that I had shared last week?
Thursday Tree love is a photo feature on this blog hosted on 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month. The next edition will be live on March 28, 2019. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog and link it back to this post.
If you don’t see the pingback, please leave a link to your post in my comments section. Please make sure that your post’s link is showing up on this latest edition. I will link your posts on my blog in the next edition and spread some love. Let’s come together to appreciate the beautiful nature around us.
Before you go, don’t forget to check the lovely trees shared on #ThursdayTreeLove – 58:
- Archana shares a blooming Mango tree from Pune
- Mali shares shots of her Oak tree
- Shilpa shares Sausage Tree from Bangalore
- Angela shares a tree from Hyderabad
- Alana shares trees at Sunset with that warm glow around
- JoAnna shares her love for the Sycamore
- Anjana shares trees from stand strong in harsh weather
- Chandra shares trees amidst the changing seasons
- Cee shares three unique trees
- Vinitha shares blooms of the spring
- Shannon joins with Jacaranda blooms from Mexico
- Agree with Rita that trees are mood enhancers
- Anamika shares the first knock of spring
It’s a shame I can’t share my photos this week as I have some issues with my blog. I’m spaced out it seems and I cannot update my WP to the latest version which means I can’t upload any new media files. So until I sort this out, I have to only watch from the outside. But it is wonderful to see the trees breaking out in the blooms of spring.

I remember the yellow flowers from your Wordless Wednesday post. Spring is coming and at the moment Bangalore’s spring is leading the race and sll other parts of the world will follow, at least it can be said for the participants in Thursday Tree Love. I couldn’t agree more. You are right. Now that the world is following, our spring has gone in hiding. 😛

Breathtakingly beautiful tree, Parul! Cant see the pink Cassias since the last few days. Looks they might have shed the flowers. But, they will be back, later this year, if that’s any consolation.

Colourful picture Parul! Summer colours have their own charm. When ever I come across such flowering trees with its flowers scattered all over, I remember a scene from a famous Tamil movie Kadal Desam where the female lead (Tabu) walks on the path with flowers strewn. The shot emphasis on how she tries to avoid stamping those flowers – as if she is respecting those delicate creatures and showing her love by not crushing them. 🙂
My love this time has been towards the Banana tree – https://anjus.home.blog/2019/03/20/go-bananas/ . Please do visit and leave your comments.

How sweet! I haven’t watched Tamil movies ever but I am sure I would have also loved that scene. You are right that summers bring colors. Even when wearing colors, I think of whites and bright shades.
Thanks Anjana for joining this week!
