“If you’re to choose to paint your life today… What will it be? Remember, you’re the artist, not the canvas.”
― Val Uchendu
On my way back home from work last week, it started raining pouring. What I initially thought was a passing cloud, was in reality a good rain in many areas of Bangalore. One that cooled down the city and brought a temporary relief from the scorching heat. I clicked this picture and posted on Instagram. Many of you would have seen it but I am taking a chance. I admit, I am still in love with this one. This week let’s smile at nature and how she waters the trees and brings birds home.
Thursday Tree love is a photo feature on this blog hosted on 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month. The next edition will be live on May 9, 2019. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog and link it back to this post.
If you don’t see the pingback, please leave a link to your post in my comments section. Please make sure that your post’s link is showing up on this latest edition. I will link your posts on my blog in the next edition and spread some love. Let’s come together to appreciate the beautiful nature around us.
Before you go, don’t forget to check the lovely trees shared on #ThursdayTreeLove – 61:

Superb! Yes, rains are most welcome and bring a delicious coolness after the scorching heat.. I am not on Instagram so I am seeing this photo for the first time! Here is my tree https://yenforblue.blogspot.com/2019/04/heavenly-thursdaytreelove.html

I remember, from when I lived in hot portions of the United States such as Florida (still nowhere near as hot as you, I am sure), how welcome those cooling rains were. Here’s my post: https://ramblinwitham.blogspot.com/2019/04/virginia-atozchallenge-thursdaytreelove.html

Not surprised why you’re in love with this one—this is such a marvellous shot, Parul! Glad you shared it here because I haven’t been regular in IG so might have missed it. I enjoyed the rain too that day…the much-needed downpour was such a blessing!

I am in love with this click, Parul. Raindrops kissed windowpanes are my favorite kind. The hello umbrella and the tree in the background adds an unique beauty to this picture. Makes me want to write a poem. 😀

Hey I see I made a mistake here. I thought that auto was an yellow umbrella. My husband pointed out that it wasn’t an umbrella! Silly me. 🙂
By the way, did you read the poem inspired by your click? 🙂

I noticed that you thought it was an umbrella but forgot to tell you 🙂
It’s the yellow of an auto. No – heading to it, right away.

At first glance the raindrops looked like flower petals from the tree. Awesome pic. Glad I find my way over here.

This is one of the most unusual pictures of yours Parul. It’s beautiful. We’re waiting for the rains too but have a month of heat to contend with.

Very deep and meaningful pic Parul! Anyways, come rain or sun, nature is charming in its own ways. One of my friend from Moscow had shared few pics of the greenery and was saying just few days back it was snowing and now all of a sudden as if by magic there is greenery around! Nature is amazing and has its own powers to recover and rejoice. My love for trees can be seen here – https://anjus.home.blog/2019/04/26/weeping-willow/

I like that picture too. Raindrops on glass, the yellow of a rick and the silhouette of a bare tree — a pleasing combo.
