“Letting go means to come to the realization that some people are a part of your history, but not a part of your destiny.”
― Steve Maraboli
When we were walking inside the Jhansi Fort, I spotted this wall. The tree was on the left side but reached over to this wall and felt as if it was behind the wall. Early in the morning the Sun was coming up, and things were calm. Exactly opposite to what the history tells us of the battle that was fought here.

Great quote, one I need to remember when I need to get over bad memories! And what a tree.. Its shade must have caused those stones to be covered in moss whereas the other stone walls seem to be moss free.. Or maybe its a different stone .. Here is my tree https://yenforblue.blogspot.com/2019/06/green-cups-thursdaytreelove.html

You are right, Archana. There was moss on the wall. Nothing can escape your ‘botanist’ eye 🙂

Your quote is exactly correct – the older I get the more I know the truth of this. I love the architecture of this fort, and to have the tree grow so close…here’s mine https://ramblinwitham.blogspot.com/2019/06/catalpa-bloom-time-thursdaytreelove.html

Loved the quote, Parul. So true about life and people1 How I wish though that some people were also a part of our destinies 😦
