“Often it isn’t the mountains ahead that wear you out, it’s the little pebble in your shoe.”
― Muhammad Ali
I tried to use a GoPro and I know I did not get a great perspective. But this is one perspective. There can be many. Isn’t it? I was visiting a friend and this was the view from his bedroom window. I loved how huge the tree was.
Thursday Tree love is a photo feature on this blog hosted on 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month. The next edition will be live on June 27, 2019. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog and link it back to this post.
If you don’t see the pingback, please leave a link to your post in my comments section. Please make sure that your post’s link is showing up on this latest edition. I will link your posts on my blog in the next edition and spread some love. Let’s come together to appreciate the beautiful nature around us.
Before you go, don’t forget to check the lovely trees shared on #ThursdayTreeLove – 64:
- Archana shares Bakul tree from Aurangabad, India
- Ramya shares Palm Trees from her hometown
- Alana shares Horse Chestnuts from her side of the world
- Ramya shares blooms from spring time and then after the snow
- Chandra shares Redbuds from the recent spring
- Anamika shares the comparison between the living and the dead
- Angela shares a Neem tree next to a temple
- Rita shares a blooming Maple tree from Durham College, Oshawa

FYI—the redbuds in the post are recent (this spring). I linked to an older post with a better photo. I confused you. Sorry. 😔

Happy to see Bangalore taking that step towards making int a greener place. When the IT boom happened in Bangalore a whole lot of trees were felled for Infrastructural development.

I know what you mean. This place was on the outskirts of Bangalore and is an ayurvedic hospital. The campus is very green and have lots of trees.

With practice, I am confident you will gain skills with the GoPro. How cool that you have one! Just watch the pebbles in your shoe – how true that saying is. Here’s my post: https://ramblinwitham.blogspot.com/2019/06/fringe-free-thursdaytreelove.html

Your quote reminds me of how long I put up with certain pebbles in my shoe. Now, I would toss it out that window. It’s an inspiring view and a grand tree! Here’s my post: https://joannaoftheforest.wordpress.com/2019/06/13/thursday-tree-love-trunk-shapes/

Thank you,JoAnna. We have all done that I am learning to ignore the pebbles. If I can do that, life would be simpler.

Lovely pic and great perspective. I’ve been thinking of buying a GoPro but the reviews are mixed. What do you think? On a more relevant note, I should get back to posting for TreeLove. Thanks for hosting.

VT got a used GoPro so this isn’t the latest. I’m not using it as much but maybe this August when we travel, I’ll try. I like pictures more than videos so I used even this one for a shot. I like the kind of perspective you can shoot with a GoPro.
I’d love for you to join Suzy. It’s twice a month so doable 🙂 looking forward to seeing you around.

I liked that quote, Parul, makes so much sense. How those little pebbles succeed in making us take a different route or some times stop the journey altogether is amazing. If only we take the time to deal with the pebbles!
Beautiful capture. That tree looks grand in this photo.
