Temple
ThursdayTreeLove – 74

A weekend back, I was out with my friends from the States and that was the first time I visited a hidden treasure in Bangalore – the Bhoga Nandeeshwara Temple. It was stunning and I have many more pictures to share but this one with the tree and a hint of architecture will be a good preview. Isn’t it strange how we never know enough of the city we live in?

Thursday Tree love is a photo feature on this blog hosted on 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month. The next edition will be live on November 14, 2019. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog and link it back to this post.

If you don’t see the pingback, please leave a link to your post in my comments section. Please make sure that your post’s link is showing up on this latest edition. I will link your posts on my blog in the next edition and spread some love. Let’s come together to appreciate the beautiful nature around us.

  1. This is the one in Nandi Hills-right? Its a gorgeous temple with some stunning architecture. I had visited in 2-3 times when I used to live in Bangalore- it was my fav place for weekend photo shoots. I also love the fields of flowers and grape vines that flank the road up to the hill on either sides. Wonder if its still like that?

Trees make for gorgeous pictures with the architecture and its a pity that fully grown trees such as this are now missing from our concretised world.

The temple’s Dravidian architecture and carvings are really attractive. Will surely try to visit and experience this with my eyes.
