  1. Still learning how to share a post I wrote before. Apparently Trees are much bigger in my life than I realized. I can’t count how many times I have written about them and photographed them.

    Here’s just one story: https://wordpress.com/post/chosenperspectives.com/16223

Thursday Tree Love is a wonderful idea Parul. Trees have so much wisdom. There is a stand of ancient cedar and Douglas fir trees about 45 minutes from my home that I like to visit at least once a year. You can not help but feel at peace amongst these giants.

  5. Shilpa Gupte says:

I loved that quote, Parul, and am going to save it for myself, to read it and remind me of it from time to time. We are the best people to take care of us, stand up for us, love us and forgive us, till the end of time.

Hi Parul, Am finally taking part in this! Didn’t see my linkback so here goes- http://nutatut.com/the-tree-in-the-lake-thursdaytreelove/

  7. Beautiful capture, Reminds me of home.
And to answer your question, yes we do!

  8. Rachna says:

So very true! A lot of times in life, we are alone. Loved the picture too.

  9. vineeta says:

Very good and correct quote. But it is irony also that we are alone among many people and I don’t like to be alone .it is depressing.

  11. Inderpreet says:

It’s a beautiful shot of the tree and yes we all need stand alone at some point. I agree and then we find out our inner strength.

  12. Sadly, it is so true that we have to be alone and strong beyond what we think ourselves capable of at times… that tree looks pretty majestic while it is doing it though!

Alone, and majestic. Looks like it is floating in the clouds! We may have loved ones, but at some point in our lives, yes, we are called upon to stand alone. When my time comes, I hope to have the strength and beauty of that tree. Here’s my entry: http://ramblinwitham.blogspot.com/2017/11/brown-is-beautiful-thursdaytreelove.html

  14. Many times in life we need to stand out and be bold where ideologies differ with the world.

  15. Shilpa Garg says:

Well said, sometimes we have to stand alone but that should not make us feel sad or lost. Rather, it should give us strength for we are able to handle things all by ourselves!

  16. G Angela says:

No one saves us, but ourselves:) a perfect statement and what a beautiful tree at shimla, loved this post, thanks for sharing and this is my link here:https://livealifeofgratitude.blogspot.in/2017/11/tree-love-24-dancing-trees.html

  17. There is something brave, noble and a little lonesome about a tree standing alone. But isn’t that how it often is when we stand alone? Longtime Tree Love admirer joining in for the first time this week! http://lifefaithincaneyhead.blogspot.com/2017/11/thursdaytreelove.html

I love how well you captured the pine standing tall and straight against the gorgeous backdrop! (My hometown Kohima used to be uncannily similar). Beautiful quote and an essential life lesson to live by!

  19. What a great idea, I love the concept as well as pics, I surely want to join next time. it is great to get connected with you through this blogosphere.
